Titanium Grade 7 Vessels Monday 1st October 2012
Portobello-RMF are pleased to announce that major orders have been secured for several pressure vessels on the Shell Bacton Rejuvination Project. The orders have been placed by Cameron who are supplying major process packages to the project. The scope of supply includes Carbon steel, Stainless Steel and Duplex items plus two Pressure Vessels in Titanium Grade 7. The Titanium vessels are bespoke designs for Camerons process requirements incorporating complex internal constructions. This is a challenging project with FEA analysis of vessel design aspects and requiring most of the work to be undertaken at Portobello-RMF's special metals fabrication facility.
