Portobello-RMF Engineering Ltd specialises in the design and fabrication of process plant, especially pressure vessels, heat exchangers and bespoke fabrications manufactured to  the highest quality and safety standards.

Portobello-RMF Engineering Ltd is an amalgamation of two highly respected and experienced fabrication companies. Formerly known as Portobello Fabrications Ltd and RMF Engineering Ltd, the two companies were amalgamated in January 2009 and remain a subsidiary of Compass Holdings Ltd.

The company specialises in the mechanical design and fabrication of process plant equipment, such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pipe work, and other special fabrications, to meet the requirements of international design codes, for example, ASME and PD5500.

The markets serviced include chemicals and petrochemicals, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, power generation, water, defence, and nuclear industries.

The company has established a reputation for quality products at competitive price levels and is accredited to ISO9001-2008 (LRQA) and authorised by ASME for the supply of ‘U' stamped equipment.

Portobello-RMF Engineering Ltd produces equipment under the European Pressure Equipment Directive which became mandatory on 29th May 2002. All new pressure containment vessels and exchangers for the European market are now CE marked. Portobello-RMF has experience across all risk categories and inspection modules.

Portobello-RMF specialise in the production of pressure vessels, shell and tube heat exchangers, columns, tanks, reactors and process & plant equipment across a wide range of materials and in accordance with recognised international design codes.
